Russia's losses in the war against Ukraine as of Wednesday morning, January 31, amounted to 1,090 occupants, bringing the total number of Russian army losses since the beginning of the invasion to 385,230. In addition, the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed 51 artillery systems, 32 armored personnel carriers, and 40 vehicles, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The total combat losses of the enemy from 24.02.22 to 31.01.24 are estimated to be:

  • personnel - about 385230 (+1090) Russians were killed;
  • tanks - 6310 (+10) units;
  • armored personnel carriers - 11757 (+32) units;
  • artillery systems - 9195 (+51) units;
  • MLRS - 974 (+2) units;
  • air defense systems - 663 units;
  • aircraft - 332 (+1) units;
  • helicopters - 324 units;
  • UAVs of operational and tactical level - 7100 (+16) units;
  • cruise missiles - 1846 units;
  • ships/boats - 23 units;
  • submarines - 1 unit;
  • motor vehicles and tankers - 12231 (+40) units;
  • special equipment - 1452 (+4) units.

Frontline situation

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, 88 combat engagements took place in Ukraine's frontline over the last day. The enemy continues its attempts to capture Avdiivka and is unsuccessfully trying to regain lost positions on the left bank of the Kherson region.

In particular, according to the Institute of War Studies, the Ukrainian Armed Forces regained previously lost positions about 3 km northwest of Horlivka. Positional fighting continues in many parts of the frontline.
