Russia's losses in Ukraine as of January 23: 960 troops and 51 artillery systems

As of Tuesday morning, January 23, Russia's losses in the war in Ukraine amounted to 960 occupiers, with the total number of casualties in the Russian army since the beginning of the invasion reaching almost 378,000 servicemen. In addition, the Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed 22 enemy tanks, 51 artillery systems, and 59 combat armored vehicles, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The overall Russian combat losses from February 24, 2022 to January 23, 2024 are estimated as follows:
- Personnel: About 377,820 (+960) individuals;
- Tanks: 6,214 (+22) units;
- Armored personnel vehicles (APV): 11,548 (+59) units;
- Artillery systems: 8,947 (+51) units;
- Multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS): 970 (+2) units;
- Anti-aircraft warfare systems: 657 units;
- Aircraft: 331 units;
- Helicopters: 324 units;
- UAV operatinal-tactical level: 6,961 units;
- Cruise missiles: 1,820 (+1) units;
- Warships/boats: 23 units;
- Submarines: 1 unit;
- Vehicles and fuel tankers: 11,956 (+65) units;
- Special equipment: 1,409 (+12) units.
