Ukrainian armed forces keep eliminating Russian manpower and military equipment across the frontline. Over the past day, total Russian losses amounted to 1,265,900 killed and wounded, according to Ukraine's General Staff.
The total combat Russian losses from February 24, 2022, to February 28, 2026, are estimated to be:
- Personnel — approximately 1,265,900 (+770);
- Tanks — 11,707 (+1);
- Armored combat vehicles — 24,102 (+5);
- Artillery systems — 37,663 (+32);
- Multiple-launch rocket systems — 1,661 (+2);
- Air defense systems — 1,305;
- Aircraft — 435;
- Helicopters — 348;
- Operational-tactical UAVs — 149,637 (+1,616);
- Cruise missiles — 4,384 (+37);
- Ships/boats —29;
- Submarines — 2;
- Automotive equipment and fuel trucks — 80,329 (+149);
- Special equipment — 4,075.
Frontline situation
On the night of February 27, the Ukrainian military attacked a Russian oil depot, several warehouses, and the control center of unmanned aerial vehicles.
Meanwhile, Ukraine and Russia agreed on a local ceasefire for the repair of the high-voltage power line that supplies the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant.
