Throughout the day, from February 12 to 13, the Russian army lost 1,250 soldiers and over 270 units of military equipment in its war against Ukraine. In addition, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the Russians have lost more than 10,000 tanks, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports.
The total combat Russian losses from February 24, 2022, to February 13, 2025, are estimated to be:
- personnel - about 854,280 (+1,250) Russian troops were eliminated;

- troop-carrying AFVs - 20,894 (+23);
- artillery systems - 23,034 (+58);

- cruise missiles - 3,063 (+6);
- warships/boats - 28;
- submarines - 1;
- vehicles and fuel tanks - 37,096 (+168);
- special equipment - 3,744 (+2).
Situation on frontline and Russian UAV attacks
According to the Institute for the Study of War (ISW), Ukrainian Defense Forces have advanced near Toretsk and in the Kursk region. However, the enemy is attempting offensives in six directions along the front.
Last night, Russia attacked Ukraine with Shahed kamikaze drones. Air raid alerts were declared in several regions, and air defense forces worked.
During the night, powerful explosions were heard in the Belarusian city of Gomel, and a burning object was seen falling from the sky. The incident occurred during a Russian drone attack against Ukraine.
