Over the past 24 hours, from February 7 to 8, Russian forces lost 1,210 soldiers in the war against Ukraine. The Ukrainian Armed Forces also destroyed 35 artillery systems, 102 UAVs, and 95 pieces of enemy vehicles, according to the Ukrainian General Staff.
The total combat Russian losses from February 24, 2022, to February 8, 2025, are estimated to be:
- personnel - about 847,860 (+1,200) Russian troops were eliminated;
- tanks - 9,981 (+6);
- armored personnel vehicles - 20,777 (+22).
- artillery systems - 22,820 (+35);
- MLRS - 1,273 (+2);
- anti-aircraft warfare systems - 1056 (+1);
- aircraft - 369;
- helicopters - 331;
- UAV operational-tactical level - 24,403 (+102);
- cruise missiles - 3,054;
- warships/boats - 28;
- submarines - 1;
- vehicles and fuel tanks - 36,402 (+95);
- special equipment - 3,738 (+1).
Frontline situation
As of the evening of Friday, February 7, there were 116 combat engagements on the frontline. The most intense situation remained in the Pokrovsk direction.
Over the past day, Russian invaders carried out 90 airstrikes, using 149 guided aerial bombs (KABs). The occupiers also deployed 961 kamikaze drones and shelled Ukrainian military positions and civilian areas more than 4,000 times.
