Russia's losses in the war in Ukraine as of Tuesday morning, February 27, amounted to 850 occupiers, with a total of 411,550 military personnel lost since the invasion began. Additionally, the Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed 1 enemy tank, 16 artillery systems, and 16 armored vehicles, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The overall Russian combat losses from February 24, 2022 to February 27, 2024 are estimated as follows:

  • Personnel: about 411,550 (+850) individuals eliminated;
  • Tanks: 6,556 (+1) units;
  • APV (Armored personnel vehicles): 12,494 (+16) units;
  • Artillery systems: 1,009 (+16) units;
  • MLRS (Multiple launch rocket systems): 1,000 units;
  • Anti aircraft warfare systems: 686 units;
  • Aircraft: 340 units;
  • Helicopters: 325 units;
  • UAV operational-tactical level: 7,729 (+22) units;
  • Cruise missiles: 1,912 (+2) units;
  • Warships/boats: 25 units;
  • Submarines: 1 unit;
  • Vehicles and fuel tankers: 13,065 (+28) units;
  • Special equipment: 1,588 (+8) units.

Frontline situation

96 combat clashes occurred over the past day on the front line. The enemy continues to press on the Avdiivka and Mariupol directions. According to the report of the Institute for the Study of War, positional battles on the front line in Ukraine persisted on the Kupyansk and Bakhmut directions, to the northwest and southwest of Avdiivka, in the area of the administrative border of Zaporizhzhia and Donetsk regions, near Robotyne and Krynky. Russian invaders advanced to the south of Kreminna and entered Sieverne.
