Russia's losses in the war in Ukraine as of Monday morning, February 19, amounted to 1,290 occupiers, with the overall tally of the Russian army's losses since the invasion beginning at 403,720 military personnel. Additionally, Ukrainian Armed Forces downed a Russian aircraft, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The total Russian combat losses from February 24, 2022 to February 19, 2024 are estimated as follows:

  • Personnel: About 403,720 (+1,290) individuals;
  • Tanks: 6,498 (+11) units;
  • APV (Armored personnel vehicles): 12,232 (+34) units;
  • Artillery systems: 9,733 (+24) units;
  • MLRS (Multiple launch rocket systems): 986 (+2) units;
  • Anti aircraft warfare systems: 674 units;
  • Aircraft: 336 (+1) units;
  • Helicopters: 325 units;
  • UAV operational-tactical level: 7,460 (+11) units;
  • Cruise missiles: 1,898 units;
  • Warships/boats: 25 units;
  • Submarines: 1 unit;
  • Vehicle and fuel tankers: 12,767 (+31) units;
  • Special equipment: 1,545 (+5) units.

Russian aircraft destruction

In recent days, Ukrainian military forces have downed four Russian aircraft. For instance, on February 18, the Ukrainian Armed Forces downed a Russian Su-34 fighter-bomber in the east of Ukraine.

Prior to this, on February 17, the Air Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed three Russian aircraft - two Su-34 fighter-bombers and one Su-35 fighter, which were also shot down on the eastern front.
