Russia's losses in Ukraine as of December 18: 1,090 troops and 44 tanks
Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian forces eliminated another 1,090 Russian terrorists over the past 24 hours. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Russia has reportedly lost approximately 347,160 personnel, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The overall Russian combat losses from February 24, 2022 to December 18, 2023 are estimated as follows:
- Personnel: About 347,160 (+1,090) individuals.
- Tanks: 5,783 (+44) units.
- Armored personnel vehicles (APV): 10,752 (+60) units.
- Artillery systems: 8,175 (+38) units.
- Multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS): 926 (+3) units.
- Anti-aircraft warfare systems: 610 (+1) units.
- Aircraft: 324 (+0) units.
- Helicopters: 324 (+0) units.
- UAV operational-tactical level: 6,290 (+12) units.
- Cruise missiles: 1,610 (+0) units.
- Warships/boats: 22 (+0) units.
- Submarines: 1 (+0) unit.
- Vehicles and fuel tanks: 10,822 (+56) units.
- Special equipment: 1,198 (+4) units.
Frontline situation
According to analysts from the Institute for the Study of War (ISW), Ukrainian forces continue to conduct offensive and defensive operations on multiple fronts. They have made advances in the Sinkyivka area on the Kupiansk direction and successfully counterattacked east of Nevelske near Avdiivka.
Meanwhile, the terrorist state has strengthened its military presence on the territory of Belarus. Several battalions and tactical groups have been deployed in two regions.
