Russia's losses in Ukraine as of April 30: 1,250 troops and 39 APCs
Russia's losses in the war in Ukraine as of Tuesday morning, April 30, amount to 1,250 Russian troops, bringing the total number of Russian army losses since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine to 468,720. In addition, the Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed 39 armored personnel carriers and 33 vehicles, according to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The total combat Russian losses from February 24, 2022 to April 30, 2024 are estimated to be:
- personnel - about 468,720 (+1250) Russian troops were killed;
- tanks - 7307 (+22) units;
- armored personnel carriers - 14,046 (+39) units;
- artillery systems - 12,011 (+26) units;
- MLRS - 1053 (+2) units;
- air defense systems - 779 (+1) units;
- airplanes - 348 units;
- helicopters - 325 units;
- UAVs of operational and tactical level - 9531 (+3) units;
- cruise missiles - 2124 units;
- ships/boats - 26 units;
- submarines - 1 unit;
- motor vehicles and tankers - 16,142 (+33) units;
- special equipment - 1977 (+3) units.
Situation at front
According to the Institute for the Study of War (ISW), there are no changes in the front line, in particular near Chasiv Yar. Russian troops managed to advance only east of Krasnohorivka.
In Ukraine, 115 combat engagements took place on the frontline over the day. Ukrainian defense aviation attacked 5 areas of Russian troops' concentration.
