Russia's losses in Ukraine as of April 19: Over 1,150 troops

The Defense Forces of Ukraine eliminated another 1,180 Russian occupiers over the past day. Thus, the total enemy losses in manpower in the war against Ukraine have already exceeded 940 thousand soldiers, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports.
The total combat Russian losses from February 24, 2022, to April 19, 2025, are estimated to be:
- personnel - about 940,150 (+1,180) Russian troops were eliminated;
- tanks - 10,676 (+14);
- troop-carrying AFVs - 22,266 (+9);
- artillery systems - 26,600 (+70);
- MLRS - 1,368 (+1);
- anti-aircraft systems - 1,139 (+3);
- aircraft - 370;
- helicopters - 335;
- UAV operational-tactical level - 33,176 (+111);
- cruise missiles - 3,148 (+3);
- warships/boats - 28;
- submarines - 1;
- vehicles and fuel tanks - 45,162 (+208);
- special equipment - 3,858.
Frontline situation
Earlier, in the evening report on April 18, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine informed that since the beginning of the day, there had already been 124 combat clashes on the front.
In addition, Ukraine's Defense Forces noted that the Russian troops continued to press in the Pokrovsk direction, where 46 attacks and assaults by the enemy were recorded.
In a new report by experts from the American Institute for the Study of War (ISW), published on April 19, it was reported that Ukrainian defenders had advanced near Toretsk. Meanwhile, advances by Russian occupiers were recorded near Kupiansk, Lyman, Kurakhove, and in the Kursk region.
