Russia's losses as of August 10: Helicopter and over 500 troops
Russia's losses in the war in Ukraine as of Thursday morning, August 10, amounted to 580 troops, bringing the total number of Russian army losses since the beginning of the invasion to 252,200. The Ukrainian Armed Forces also destroyed a helicopter, 16 tanks and 15 enemy artillery systems, reports the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook.
Total Russian losses from 24.02.22 to 10.08.23 are estimated as follows:
- Personnel - approximately 252,200 (+580) individuals eliminated,
- Tanks - 4,278 (+16) units,
- Combat armored vehicles - 8,303 (+13) units,
- Artillery systems - 5,028 (+15) units,
- MLRS - 711 units,
- Air defense systems - 469 units,
- Aircraft - 315 units,
- Helicopters - 313 (+1) units,
- Operational-tactical UAVs - 4,179 (+4) units,
- Cruise missiles - 1,377 units,
- Ships / boats - 18 units,
- Motor vehicles and tankers - 7,495 (+16) units,
- Specialized equipment - 746 (+4) units.
Frontline situation
According to the General Staff, Ukrainian Defense Forces continue their offensive operation in the Melitopol and Berdiansk directions. 30 combat clashes took place in the past 24 hours.
According to the Institute for the Study of War (ISW), Russian occupiers along the Svatove-Kreminna frontline are suffering significant losses.
