Russian troops attacked Zaporizhzhia with missiles and drones. As a result of the massive Russian strikes, there are reports of casualties, including children, according to the head of the Zaporizhzhia regional military administration, Ivan Fedorov.

"Russian troops launched at least 20 drone and 8 missile strikes on Zaporizhzhia. Several floors of a dormitory were destroyed. Preliminary reports indicate that one person may be trapped under the rubble. The rescue operation is ongoing," Fedorov says.

According to him, as of 8:20 a.m., 13 people are known to have been injured. Residents of Zaporizhzhia who were affected by the Russian attack continue to seek medical help. People are experiencing acute stress reactions, lacerations, concussions, bruises, and fractures. All victims are receiving the necessary medical care.

Among the wounded are 6 children — 3 girls and 3 boys. The children are between 3 and 6 years old.

According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, psychologists have assisted 27 citizens, including 7 children. The number of victims is being clarified. Search and rescue operations are continuing at one of the addresses. A canine unit has been brought in to search for people under the rubble.

Rescuers extinguished fires at other addresses. All emergency services are working at the scene.
