Russia launches overnight drone attack on Ukraine: Hits reported

On the night of July 27, Russia launched 83 drones at Ukraine. Air defense forces neutralized most of the targets, but there were also hits, according to the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The Russians launched attack drones and imitator drones of various types from six directions - Oryol, Kursk, Shatalovo, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, and Hvardiiske in Crimea.
The enemy attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare, and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
Air defense forces neutralized 78 drones in the north, south, east, and center of the country.
According to the Air Force, five drones were hit in three locations, while downed drones (wreckage) fell in two locations.
Attack on Ukraine
On the evening of July 26, Russians attacked Kharkiv with drones. According to local authorities, they launched 10 drones in the Kyivskyi district of the city.
The attack caused fires in Kharkiv, damaging a civilian enterprise and a private house. The Russian army also attacked a suburb of Kharkiv with drones. The State Emergency Service showed the consequences of the attack on Kharkiv and its suburbs.
In the morning, explosions were also heard in the Khmelnytskyi region. The Air Force reported the movement of drones in the direction of the city of Starokostiantyniv.
