On the night of September 29, starting from 8:00 p.m. on September 28, Russia attacked Ukraine with 32 strike drones of Shahed, Gerbera, and other types, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports.

The enemy launched the drones from the directions of Bryansk, Oryol, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk. About 20 of them were Shahed UAVs.

Aviation, electronic warfare units, unmanned systems, and mobile fire groups of Ukraine’s Defense Forces repelled the air assault. According to preliminary data as of 09:00 a.m. Kyiv time, air defense forces shot down or suppressed 23 enemy drones over the northern and eastern regions of the country.

At the same time, nine strike drones hit eight locations. The attack is still ongoing, with new groups of enemy UAVs being detected in the north and east.

September 29 strikes

On the evening of Sunday, September 28, the Russian army launched several groups of strike drones into Ukrainian territory. Air raid alerts were declared in a number of regions.

In particular, Russian forces carried out a series of attacks on communities in the Dnipropetrovsk region, using strike drones, heavy artillery, and FPV drones. As a result of one of the attacks, a 44-year-old man was injured. He received the necessary medical assistance.
