Russia has launched a massive attack on one of DTEK’s thermal power plants, DTEK reports.

The strike forced the plant to halt electricity generation. The company also said its equipment sustained significant damage.

This is not the first attack on DTEK’s thermal power plants. Since the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion, Russian forces have attacked them more than 230 times.

Overnight, explosions were heard in Lutsk and the Rivne region, which came under almost continuous attacks. Russian forces also continued attacking the Lviv region in the morning, where a drone was spotted.

Earlier, Russia attacked Ukraine with a new Geran-5 K5-K missile featuring optical navigation.

According to Serhii Beskrestnov, an adviser to the Ukrainian president on defense technology, the missile can fly farther, faster, and higher than previous versions.

It was also reported that Russian drones attacked railway infrastructure in Poltava on the evening of October 22.

According to preliminary information, no one was injured.
