Russia launches 23 missiles and over 100 drones at Ukraine: Air defense intercepts many

Russia launched a combined strike on Ukraine during the night of April 6. Occupiers fired 23 missiles and 109 drones at Ukraine, according to the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Telegram.
During this night, Russia launched the following against Ukraine:

9 Kh-101/Kh-55SM cruise missiles (launched from Tu-95MS aircraft from the airspace of the Saratov region);

8 Kalibr cruise missiles (launched from the Black Sea area);

6 Iskander-M ballistic missiles (launched from the Bryansk region);

109 Shahed-type strike drones and drones imitating other types (launched from Bryansk, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Kursk in Russia and Chauda in Crimea).
Air defense forces destroyed 6 Kh-101/Kh-55SM cruise missiles, 6 Kalibr cruise missiles, 1 Iskander-M ballistic missile, and 40 Shahed drones.
Another 53 enemy drone imitators were lost in the targeted areas (without negative consequences).
Consequences of the Russian strike
On the evening of April 5, Russian drones struck Mykolaiv. Buildings in the city were damaged, and a fire broke out in the gas network. As of the morning, four people were reported injured as a result of the attack.
Also, overnight, Russian forces attacked Sumy, launching eight Shahed drones at the city. Civil infrastructure in Sumy was damaged.
Additionally, the Russian army targeted Kyiv with ballistic missiles. As a result of the attack, fires broke out and destruction occurred in three districts of the capital. As of the morning, three people were reported injured and one person was confirmed dead.
