Russia launches 185 drones at Ukraine overnight: Air defense works

Russia, on the night of February 24, launched 185 strike drones of the Shahed type and decoy drones against Ukraine. The UAVs attacked from four directions, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports.
According to the Air Force, the drones attacked from the following directions:
- The Russian cities of Oryol, Bryansk, and Kursk
- The temporarily occupied Chauda in Crimea
Forces involved in repelling the enemy attack:
- Aviation
- Anti-aircraft missile units
- Electronic warfare units
- Mobile fire groups of the Air Force and Defense Forces of Ukraine
As of 8:00 a.m. Kyiv time, Ukrainian defenders shot down 113 drones over the Kharkiv, Poltava, Sumy, Kyiv, and Chernihiv regions, among others. In addition, 71 decoy drones were lost locally without causing any negative consequences.
