As of 6:00 a.m. (Kyiv time) on October 3, there is one Russian ship in the Black Sea, which is equipped with Kalibr cruise missiles. The total salvo capacity is up to four missiles, according to the Ukrainian Navy.

No Russian ships are present in the Sea of Azov.

However, two missile carriers have been detected in the Mediterranean Sea, with a potential maximum salvo of up to 24 missiles.

Military sources added that over the past 24 hours, in the interests of Russia, the following vessels passed through the Kerch Strait:

  • to the Black Sea: 6 ships, 4 of which continued toward the Bosporus Strait;
  • to the Sea of Azov: 12 ships, 3 of which were coming from the Bosporus Strait.

"Russia continues to violate the 1974 International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS) by disabling Automatic Identification Systems (AIS)," added the Ukrainian Navy.

It is noteworthy that, according to Bloomberg, US authorities do not accuse American companies, whose products Russia uses in missile production, of violating export controls. Their components continue to be supplied to Russia through intermediaries.
