Russia denies mobilization plans, labels reports 'Kyiv's false provocation'

Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council and head of the United Russia party, Dmitry Medvedev, denied reports of planned mobilization in Russia this autumn, calling rumors about it "Kyiv's false provocation," according to Russian state media.
Furthermore, Medvedev claimed that Ukraine is spreading mobilization rumors about Russia to divide society ahead of the State Duma elections.
"It is obvious that the enemy is trying to use the electoral period to weaken the country from within - to divide society, destabilize the situation, and ultimately prevent us from achieving the goals of the special operation. They want to stop us from winning. We see how actively they are trying to exploit this opportunity through persistent insinuations and foul disinformation," said the deputy head of Russia’s Security Council.
He also recalled recent statements by Russian leader Vladimir Putin, who also denied any plans for mobilization.
"The Supreme Commander-in-Chief recently stated this. And I will reiterate once again: this rumor is a false provocation by the Kyiv regime, which is suffering from a severe shortage of human resources," emphasized Medvedev.
In addition, the head of United Russia said that the needs of the Russian army are fully met through contract soldiers and volunteers.
"They are true patriots of Russia. That is why there is absolutely no need for mobilization," Medvedev concluded.
Mobilization in Russia
However, an autumn mobilization is expected in Russia, as indicated by multiple facts and intelligence data from several countries, despite Kremlin denials.
For example, it was recently reported that Russian men are being issued mobilization orders at military recruitment offices, which would allow the aggressor country to urgently summon hundreds of thousands of men to mobilization centers.
RBC-Ukraine also reported a case in Russia where a conscript of reserve forces was prevented from leaving the country. A military draft office made the decision to restrict his travel.
