Russia complains of overnight drone attack: Bridge closed and fires extinguished

The territory of Russia was attacked by dozens of strike drones last night, June 27. The air defense forces of the Russian army allegedly eliminated 39 drones, the Russian Ministry of Defense reports.
According to the Ministry, 19 drones were shot down over the Rostov region, 13 over the Volgograd region, four over the temporarily occupied Crimea, and one each over the Belgorod, Bryansk, and Samara regions.
Consequences of strikes
In the Volgograd region, Russia restricted traffic on the bridge over the Don River in the Kalacheyevsky district to clear debris from a strike drone, and firefighters extinguished areas of dry grass that had caught fire.
The governor of the Samara region, Vyacheslav Fedorishchev, stated that in Novokuybyshevsk drones attacked an industrial enterprise, and allegedly there were no casualties.
In the Rostov and Bryansk regions, there were reportedly no casualties or destruction. Also, during the night, the Federal Agency for Air Transport (Rosaviatsiya) imposed restrictions on the operation of airports in Volgograd, Samara, and Saratov.
Drone strikes on Russia
On June 9, drones struck the VNIIIR-Progress enterprise, where components for Russian missiles, drones, and guided aerial bombs are produced. The plant is located in Cheboksary.
As a result of the attack, production at the plant was temporarily suspended.
Furthermore, on Thursday, June 26, drones attacked missile fuel depots in Bryansk. Due to the strike, a fire broke out. The cause of the explosion and fire was an attack by the Bober, Baklan, and Obrii Ukrainian drones on the warehouse of the 1061st Material and Technical Support Center of the Russian Armed Forces in Bryansk.
