Russia attacks Ukraine with Shaheds and missiles: Downed targets revealed
On the night of January 30, Russian war criminals launched 35 Shahed kamikaze drones and two S-300 guided missiles at Ukraine. The Ukrainian Air Defense Forces managed to shoot down 15 enemy drones, according to the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Russians attacked Ukraine with 35 Shahed-136/131 attack UAVs from three directions: Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Kursk - Russia, Chauda - Crimea. Also, Russian troops struck the Donetsk region with two S-300 anti-aircraft guided missiles.
Ukrainian Air Defense Forces destroyed 15 enemy UAVs in Mykolaiv, Sumy, Cherkasy, Kirovohrad, Dnipro, Kharkiv, Kherson, and Kyiv regions.
The enemy sent some of the attack UAVs to the frontline areas in an attempt to hit the fuel and energy sector infrastructure and civilian and military facilities near the front line and the state border with Russia.
Aviation, anti-aircraft missile units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces were engaged to repel the air attack.
Russian shelling of Ukraine
Explosions were heard in Kyiv region last night, December 30. The movement of enemy drones was recorded, and Air Defense Forces are working in the region.
RBC-Ukraine correspondents also reported the sounds of explosions in Bila Tserkva, Kyiv region.
An air alert was declared in the region and many Ukrainian regions.
The Ukrainian Air Force also reported several groups of enemy strike drones in the Cherkasy region moving toward Vinnytsia and Kyiv regions.
