Russia attacks Ukraine with drones, explosion heard in Chernihiv

On the evening of Saturday, October 25, Russian forces once again launched attack drones toward Ukraine. The sound of an explosion was reportedly heard at least in Chernihiv, according to the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and Suspilne News.
According to the military, the first drones were detected over Ukraine starting at 8:09 PM Kyiv time. That was when the Air Force reported a group of attack drones flying over the Donetsk region and heading toward Dnipropetrovsk.
Later, drones were also spotted over the Chernihiv, Poltava, and Kharkiv regions.
"An explosion was heard in Chernihiv," Suspilne correspondents reported at 10:25 PM Kyiv time, shortly before another air-raid warning was issued for the region.
As of the latest updates, drones were seen moving north of Zaporizhzhia, heading northeast.

By 11:00 PM Kyiv time, the air-raid alert map showed active warnings across the following regions: Chernihiv, Sumy, Poltava, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Donetsk.

Russian attacks on Ukraine
Earlier, overnight on October 25, Russian forces also carried out a large-scale strike on Ukraine using attack drones and ballistic missiles. According to reports, the enemy launched nine Iskander-M ballistic missiles and 62 Shahed-type and other drones.
By 9 AM Kyiv time, Ukraine’s air defense forces had shot down four ballistic missiles and 50 drones. However, five missiles and 12 drones hit 11 different locations across the country.
