On the night of March 1, Russia again attacked Ukraine, using both Shahed drones and missiles. Ukrainian air defense destroyed 4 of the 4 Russian drones, according to the Air Force Armed Forces of Ukraine and the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Serhii Lysak.

"On the night of March 1, 2024, the enemy attacked with five S-300 anti-aircraft guided missiles and four Shahed strike UAVs," the Ukrainian Air Force says.

According to the military, Russians launched the missiles from the occupied Donetsk and Belgorod regions of the Russian Federation, and the drones from the Primorsko-Akhtarsk and Kursk regions of the Russian Federation.

As a result of an anti-aircraft battle, mobile firing groups of the Defense Forces destroyed 4 Shaheds within Kharkiv and Dnipropetrovsk regions.
