Nineteen enemy drones were destroyed in the sky over the Cherkasy region on the night of June 27. However, debris from the downed drones damaged residential houses and also a power line, the Head of the Cherkasy Regional Military Administration, Ihor Taburets, reports.

"Air raid alarms sounded across the region during the night. Our air defense forces were at work. Nineteen Russian UAVs were eliminated in the Cherkasy sky," the statement says.

According to Taburets, there were no casualties. At the same time, in the Zvenyhorod district, damage was recorded due to falling debris. Windows in three private houses and an outbuilding were damaged, and a power line was cut off.

An emergency team is already working at the site, inspecting and surveying the area. The work will continue until the consequences of the attack are eliminated.

Attack on Ukraine on June 27

That night, Russian troops once again attacked Ukraine with strike drones. Air raid alarms sounded in many regions, and air defense forces were engaged - in Kyiv, Zaporizhzhia, the Poltava region, the Kharkiv region, and other areas.

In Zaporizhzhia, shelling caused fires and damage to non-residential buildings. According to local authorities, the enemy carried out at least six drone strikes on the regional center that night.
