Roofless houses, one person dead: Russian Shahed attack outcomes in Mykolaiv
On the night of February 7, the Russian aggressor attacked the Mykolaiv region with missiles and Shahed drones. As a result of the attack, dozens of buildings and a gas pipeline were damaged, reports Vitalii Kim, the head of the Mykolaiv military administration.
On the morning of February 7, the enemy attacked the city with Shahed-136/131 UAVs and air-launched missiles. Air defense forces and means in Mykolaiv region destroyed three UAVs.
"About 20 residential buildings were damaged as a result of the hits. One person was injured, the man is being provided with the necessary medical care. A fire broke out at a section of the underground gas pipeline," the statement said.
In addition, a technical building was damaged and a fire broke out on the territory of the infrastructure facility. The fire is currently localized.
Mykolaiv Mayor Oleksandr Senkevych said that about 20 houses in the city are left without roofs.
"There are injured people. One person is hospitalized. Others were treated on the spot," he said.
Later, Senkevych said that the man who was hospitalized after the shelling died in intensive care. He had severe mine-blast and craniocerebral injuries.

On the night of February 7, the Russians launched Shahed attack drones into Ukraine. The enemy barrage munitions were headed for Odesa, Uman, Dnipro, Pavlohrad, and other cities in different regions.
At around 6:30 a.m., explosions were heard in Mykolaiv and the region because of the attack by Shahed drones.
