The Main Intelligence Directorate published an order from a Russian commander about the execution of Ukrainian prisoners of war. This crime confirms the systemic nature of war crimes committed by the enemy army, according to the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

On July 10, 2025, the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine intercepted a horrific order from one of the commanders of the 155th Separate Marine Brigade of the Russian Pacific Fleet.

In the audio recording, the commander of the 2nd Air Assault Company, using obscene language, orders the torture of Ukrainian prisoners of war.

Currently, this brigade is engaged in combat operations in the Sumy region.

The 155th brigade is known for numerous war crimes during the occupation of Kyiv region and on other front-line directions.

What's known about 155th brigade of the Russian Federation

During the genocidal war against Ukraine, this unit suffered significant losses, which forced the Kremlin to replenish it with new recruits among the mobilized.

Ukrainian security forces have repeatedly delivered precision strikes on the command posts of the 155th brigade.

In particular, on July 2, 2025, as a result of an attack on a headquarters in the Kursk region, the commander, Colonel Serhii Illyin, was eliminated.

Despite the inhuman torture and barbaric killings of prisoners, the 155th brigade received special support from the Kremlin – its flag was proudly displayed during the press conference of Russian dictator Vladimir Putin in December 2024.

The executions and torture committed by the soldiers and command of this "privileged" brigade in the Kremlin testify to a systemic, deliberate policy of war crimes by the Russian Federation.

Previously, in one of the Russian villages in Chuvashia, the commander of the 155th Marine Brigade of the Russian Federation, Serhii Illyin, was buried. He was likely eliminated in the Kursk region.

Officially, the Russian authorities confirmed only the fact of the military’s death during the "special military operation," but did not clarify the exact circumstances.
