Prince Harry announces amount to receive for being wiretapped
Prince Harry announced that he will finally receive compensation from The Daily Mirror, which hacked his phone, reports People magazine.
What compensation will Prince Harry receive from The Daily Mirror
Prince Harry will receive compensation from The Daily Mirror, which wiretapped him, Prince's lawyer David Sherborne made a loud statement about this.
It turns out Prince Harry will receive $500,000 from Mirror Group Newspapers. This is the publisher of the famous British tabloid The Daily Mirror.
Recall that journalists wiretapped Harry for over 15 years. They aimed to obtain exclusive information for writing unique materials. Unfortunately, the publication used various illegal methods for this.
It even came to the point that they hired private detectives, this information was confirmed by the Supreme Court of Great Britain.
"We are pleased to have reached this agreement, which gives our business further clarity to move forward from events that took place many years ago and for which we have apologized," an MGN spokesperson said.

By the way, Harry's case against the Daily Mirror and two other tabloids is one of several he has initiated against British media companies.
"After our victory in December, Mirror Group finally settled the rest of my lawsuit, which would have consisted of two more court cases, additional evidence, and another 115 articles," Harry shared.
In December, Prince Harry won over $180,000 after Chief Justice Mann concluded that 15 out of 33 articles at the center of Harry's lawsuit were the result of hacking into his mobile phone or the mobile phones of his associates.
And now Harry will receive compensation from Mirror Group Newspapers in a significant monetary equivalent.
It is worth recalling that Prince Harry also accuses journalists of ruining his life and persecuting both his late mother, Princess Diana, and his wife, Meghan.
