Pentagon reveals main topic of today's Ramstein meeting
The topic of discussion at the Ramstein meeting scheduled for June 13 in Brussels will be strengthening Ukraine's air defense capabilities, according to deputy spokesperson for the US Department of Defense Sabrina Singh.
The Pentagon spokesperson reminds that air defense is a priority for Ukraine.
"It's something that they need, whether it be in the Patriot or other forms. And so I'm sure that's going to be a topic of discussion tomorrow at the UDCG," she says.
Pentagon Chief Lloyd Austin, along with the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, has already left for Brussels.
According to NATO, the meeting in the Ramstein format will take place in Brussels on June 13 at 11 a.m.
Later, on June 15, a meeting of NATO Defense Ministers and the Nuclear Planning Group will take place.
