US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth promised to deliver the most intense strikes on Iran since the start of the military operation.

During a press conference, the head of the Pentagon commented on the US's next steps. According to Hegseth, today will be another day of intense strikes on Iran.

The US Secretary of Defense also repeated accusations against Tehran, saying that Iran was allegedly carrying out strikes using social infrastructure facilities, including schools and hospitals.

"For 47 years, these barbaric savages in the Iranian regime have murdered our brothers in arms – my guys, your guys, our guys," Hegseth says.

US and Israeli operation against Iran

Since February 28, the US and Israel have been conducting a military operation against Iran called Epic Fury.

In response, the Iranian regime is striking countries in the Middle East. Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the UAE, Jordan, Azerbaijan, and even Türkiye have been attacked.

A strike was also carried out on a British military base in Cyprus, causing serious concern in Europe and forcing allies to prepare for a possible escalation of the situation.

This is not the first time the US has announced an intensification of attacks on Iran.

In particular, US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent announced a bombing operation aimed at destroying facilities and factories involved in missile production.

In addition, US President Donald Trump promised to launch a powerful strike against Iran today.
