Russia continues to use temporarily occupied Dzhankoy (Crimea) as a hub for deploying troops to the front. The Telegram channel of the partisan movement Atesh reports the arrival of a large number of Russians to the city.

Agents of Atesh confirm that the situation with the regular arrival of personnel to the city remains unchanged.

"Numerous occupiers who arrived from the occupied mainland Ukraine are being treated in military hospitals and civilian medical facilities," the message emphasizes.

According to the partisans, significant losses suffered by Russian occupying forces compel the Kremlin to conduct covert mobilization to compensate for these losses.

"As a result, many occupiers are arriving in Dzhankoy for further deployment to the front," they state.

Situation in the Dzhankoy area

Russian troops have previously been observed transferring significant resources to the temporarily occupied Dzhankoy.

Furthermore, it was reported last year that Russian occupiers faced significant challenges with mobilized Russians arriving in Crimea. Several cases of their disappearance were recorded, particularly in Dzhankoy. For this reason, in late October 2023, military police units were deployed to the city to ensure the safety of the occupiers' personnel.
