Partisans and Crimean citizens help Defense Forces to attack Saky airfield
The ATESH partisans, together with Crimeans, helped the Ukrainian Defense Forces strike the "Saky" military airfield in Crimea, according to the ATESH partisan movement.
"Our data helped in planning and executing the strike, which resulted in the destruction of an ammunition depot, a radar station, a launcher, an air defense system, and Russian Armed Forces personnel," the statement reads.
ATESH noted that this success would not have been possible without the help of Crimeans. Their information plays a key role in the destruction of the Russian forces.
Strike on Saky airfield
As previously reported, on July 26, as a result of an air attack in temporarily occupied Crimea, the Saky military airfield in Novofedorivka caught fire. Explosions of ammunition were heard.
Later, it was revealed that the Defense Forces struck the Saky airfield. Russia uses this airfield to control airspace, the Black Sea area and to launch air strikes on Ukrainian territory.
