Papua New Guinea joins Peace Summit's communique - Zelenskyy
The number of signatory countries to the final communiqué of the Global Peace Summit on Ukraine has once again increased. The document approved nearly a month ago in Switzerland, has also been endorsed by Papua New Guinea, according to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
"Today, Papua New Guinea joined the first Peace Summit’s communique, adding to Oceania’s voice in peace efforts," stated the head of state on July 13.
Zelenskyy noted his appreciation for this significant contribution to restoring respect for the Charter of the United Nations and international law.
The Ukrainian president also added that Kyiv continues to work on expanding the participation of countries from various regions in this historic document.
"We value every voice in favor of a just and lasting peace in Ukraine," emphasized Zelenskyy.

On June 15-16, a significant Global Peace Summit took place in Switzerland, dedicated to ending Russia's war against Ukraine and addressing the security situation. Over 100 delegations from various countries and organizations gathered at the event.
As a result of the two-day proceedings, the summit participants adopted a final communiqué.
Recently, the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Yermak, announced that Ukraine is planning to hold a second peace summit in Saudi Arabia by the end of this year.
