Pan pizza: Simple recipe without dough
You can make a delicious and juicy pizza in a pan, and you don't even need the dough. Turns out there's an interesting recipe "à la pepperoni" with potatoes instead of regular dough. One could also call it an "improved hash browns," according to the Shuba website.
Ingredients:
- Chicken eggs - 2
- Potatoes - 2
- Mozzarella cheese - 100 grams
- Pepperoni sausage (or other) - 5 round slices
- Sunflower oil - 1 tablespoon
- Salt and pizza sauce to taste
Directions:
Beat the eggs and add salt. Then grate the peeled potatoes and rinse them in water to remove excess starch. After that, squeeze the potatoes well to remove all the liquid.
Heat the pan, pour in the oil. Spread the grated potatoes so that they cover the entire bottom, smooth it out with a spoon or spatula, slightly press on it. Put the lid on and fry the potato crust on low heat.
When it's brown on one side, carefully flip it to the other side. After that, pour beaten eggs over it and wait for about a minute.
Spread sauce over the hash brown, add grated mozzarella, sausage, and sprinkle everything with cheese again. But that's not all.
Cover the skillet with a lid and let the crust bake for a little longer, until the cheese melts. Transfer the pizza to a plate and enjoy this interesting "à la pepperoni" dish.
