The Air Force units, in cooperation with other components of the Defense Forces, have attacked the storage facilities for Shahed attack drones in the Oryol region of Russia. About 200 drones will no longer be able to attack Ukraine, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports.

According to the report, the Ukrainian attack hit concrete buildings where thermobaric warheads, which are used to equip drones, were stored. There is information about a strong secondary detonation.

"The results and extent of the damage are being clarified, but it is known that more than 200 Shaheds will no longer be used against our country," the statement said.

The General Staff added that the Armed Forces will continue combat operations against important targets involved in the destruction of Ukraine's civilian infrastructure and terrorizing the civilian population.

Attacks on facilities in Russia

On January 21, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that the Ukrainian Defense Forces attacked several important Russian facilities. Two of them were located directly on the territory of the Russian Federation.

In particular, Ukrainian drones attacked the Liskinskaya oil depot in the Voronezh region. As a result of the strike, tanks with lubricants used by the enemy to supply its troops were burning.

The infrastructure of the Smolensk Aviation Plant was attacked in the Smolensk region. The Russians were modernizing and producing combat aircraft there.
