Orbán accuses Brussels of destroying Europe

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán has accused "Brussels," meaning the EU's leadership and bureaucracy, of allegedly destroying Europe. He criticized the bloc for allocating money to help Ukraine and for the influx of migrants.
"The bureaucrats of Brussels have destroyed Europe. Because of Brussels, the European economy is slowly sinking. Because of Brussels, our money is being sent to Ukraine, to a hopeless war. Because of Brussels, Europe has been flooded with migrants," he said in his post.
Orbán went on to emphasize that it was allegedly Brussels that opened the gates and borders to the migrant invasion. He also referred to George Soros, who, based on the text of the Hungarian prime minister, announced that 1 million migrants should be allowed into Europe every year. As a result, Orbán writes, 9 million migrants have arrived in Europe over the past nine years.
"The migrant invasion of Europe, the population exchange, is not a conspiracy theory, but the practice itself. It’s time to look for new conspiracy theories because all the old ones have come true," the Hungarian prime minister summarized.
Earlier this week, Orbán said that Hungary would like to maintain good relations with Russia. However, according to him, Brussels is hampering Budapest's plans in this regard. He also said that it is because of Brussels that he calls Russia the aggressor.
Orbán risks losing power because of the state of his country's economy. In particular, due to rising inflation, falling morale, and even a drop in the birth rate, which he wants to increase so badly.
