One Direction singer Liam Payne died in Argentina

A famous British singer, songwriter, and composer, one of the five members of the Anglo-Irish band One Direction, Liam Payne, has died in Argentina, according to the Argentine TV channel TN.

According to media reports, the artist was staying at a hotel in the Palermo district of Buenos Aires. He came to Argentina to attend a concert of his friend and former One Direction partner Niall Horan, which took place on October 2 at the Movistar Arena.
On Wednesday, October 16, at about 5 p.m., 31-year-old Payne fell into the hotel courtyard from the third floor.
Police and an ambulance were called to the scene. Doctors pronounced the man dead. The doctors explained that he had suffered a fracture of the base of his skull, an injury that was incompatible with life.
Before that, the hotel staff had called the police because one of the guests was making a disturbance in the room, shouting and breaking a TV and laptop. Most likely, the singer was under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Unknown substances were found during the room inspection.
When the police arrived at the scene, they heard a loud sound in the courtyard. Then they found the body of Liam Payne.
