Russian occupiers continue 'meat assaults' in Kherson region, saving equipment
Russian invaders continue "meat assaults" on the left bank of the Kherson region. Russians are saving armored vehicles and attacking without them, states Natalia Humeniuk, spokesperson for the Southern Ukrainian Defense Forces.
According to her, the Russian army is subject to a "commanders' embargo" on armored vehicles on the left bank of the Dnipro River in Kherson Oblast. Therefore, in fact, "meat assaults" continue there.
Humeniuk added that at the same time, our defenders continue combat operations near the village of Krynky, Kherson region, and are consolidating their positions. In particular, this is evidenced by the presence of the Ukrainian flag there.
"But the enemy does not stop its assaults - they made four attempts yesterday. We can see that the enemy believes in the Ukrainian Defense Forces and is saving armored vehicles because when our forces come, they will have something to fight with," said the spokesperson.
Situation on the left bank of the Kherson region
In the fall of 2023, it became known that our soldiers were gaining a foothold on the left bank of the Kherson region, in particular, on a bridgehead near the village of Krynky.
The General Staff explained that the Armed Forces wanted to push the Russian occupiers away from the right bank of the Dnipro River. This will reduce the shelling of civilians. The spokesperson for the Southern Defense Forces, Natalia Humeniuk, emphasized that work on the left bank is ongoing.
According to her, the Ukrainian military is trying to expand the bridgehead on the left bank of the Kherson region.
Also on February 6, DeepState released a video showing Ukrainian defenders hoisting a flag in Krynky on the left bank of the Kherson region.
