Nutritionist names 5 foods to help prevent baldness
Baldness is an important problem for people of all genders and ages. A nutritionist has named foods that will prevent severe hair loss, reports The Mirror.
What products will prevent baldness
Nutritionist Mario Oritz said that nutrition is key to keeping hair thick and preventing it from falling out.
The first recommendation of the Spanish expert was fatty fish, such as salmon, mackerel, and sardines, which are foods rich in omega-3s that reduce inflammation. They are also rich in protein and vitamin D.
He went on to suggest eggs as a fantastic source of biotin, which accelerates hair growth by boosting keratin production. Eggs also contain vital vitamins A and D for hair health.
The third superfood was walnuts. They contain healthy fats, zinc, and selenium. These minerals prevent hair thinning and keep it shiny.
The fourth food would be spinach, which is rich in vitamin C, iron, and folic acid, helping to transport oxygen to the hair follicles. It also contains vitamin A, which helps produce natural fats.
The last would be citrus fruits such as oranges, which are very important for the production of collagen, a protein that helps hair follicles. In addition, vitamin C facilitates the absorption of iron.
Signs of excessive hair loss
Each person has a different number of hair follicles on the scalp. The rate of hair loss can vary from 50 to 100 hairs per day. It depends on the stage of hair growth because in some people it lasts three, five, or ten years.
