How many North Korean missiles Russia used in war, Ukraine's intelligence reveals
The Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) is supplying Russia with missiles, which Russia then launches to attack Ukraine. As of today, the Russian army has used approximately 60 such missiles, Andrii Chernyak, Representative of the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, says in an interview with Radio Svoboda.
In response to a question about Russia's use of KN-23 ballistic missiles in attacks on Ukraine, Chernyak confirmed that the Russian forces had already launched about 60 of these North Korean-made missiles.
A representative of Ukraine's Defense Intelligence noted that the KN-23 missiles are based on outdated technologies, which affects their accuracy. However, Russia is also receiving a vast amount of artillery ammunition from North Korea, amounting to millions of units.
"We constantly observe the movement of cargoes and containers. We do not rule out that they may contain artillery ammunition produced by North Korea, which is already stockpiled there. Yes, this also poses a significant danger to Ukraine," Chernyak added.
A representative of Ukraine's Defense Intelligence also emphasized that despite having its military resources, Russia is relying on ammunition produced in North Korea.

Earlier this summer, Russian and North Korean dictators Vladimir Putin and Kim Jong Un signed an agreement on a comprehensive strategic partnership. The document provides for mutual support in the event of aggression against either side. At the same time, Putin attempted to persuade Kim to open diplomatic representations in the occupied cities of Donetsk and Luhansk. The Pentagon expressed concern about the possible involvement of North Korean soldiers in the war in Ukraine, calling them potential "cannon fodder."
According to The Guardian, there is a possibility that North Korean troops assist Russian forces in launching KN-23 missiles.
