Night attack on October 25
Russian military forces launched a drone attack on Ukraine on October 25 from multiple directions. Residents in the southern, central, and western regions had been warned about the potential threat of drone attacks.
Explosions were heard in the Khmelnytskyi region during the night. Soon after, Slavuta mayor, Vasyl Sydor, announced that the city had sustained significant damage, and educational institutions would remain closed.
Serhii Tyurin, the Deputy Head of the Khmelnytskyi Regional Military Administration, also said that downed Russian drones fell within the territory of a critical infrastructure site. The resulting shockwave caused damage to non-residential buildings, residential houses, and vehicles. Sixteen residents from surrounding buildings were reported to have sustained injuries.
