After explosions on the morning of October 3, Moldovan police found drone debris in four districts of the country. There is damage and fire, according to Moldovan TV channel TV8.

Drone debris was found in the Căușeni, Ștefan Vodă, Hîncești, and Anenii Noi districts. Before that, local residents reported explosions outside populated areas.

According to the General Inspectorate of Police of Moldova, the first report came in at 7:50 a.m. Residents of Căușeni reported an explosion outside the city, after which thick smoke could be seen over the scene.

Law enforcement officers arrived at the scene and found drone debris.

Later, fragments of drones were found near Dubovca and Hîncești. Another crash site was discovered between the villages of Delacău and Puhăceni in Anenii Noi district.

Another incident occurred near the village of Crocmaz in Ștefan Vodă district. There, a drone fell on vineyards near a field brigade camp.

After the fall, the explosion shattered windows in a building. Dry grass caught fire.

Police are currently working at the sites of all the incidents, documenting the consequences and establishing the circumstances surrounding the drone crashes.

Residents were urged not to approach the sites where the explosions occurred and not to touch debris or other suspicious objects.

Drone incidents in Moldova

In recent weeks, Moldova has repeatedly recorded unidentified drones flying over its territory.

On September 30, a drone crossed the country's airspace and fell and exploded near the village of Hîrbovăț and the city of Bender.

On September 19, several drones that violated Moldova's airspace were found in Ștefan Vodă district.

On September 12, Moldova temporarily restricted the use of part of its airspace because of an unidentified drone, while several flights were delayed at Chișinău Airport.
