There are more casualties in Poltava as a result of a Russian missile strike on a five-story building, and the number of victims continues to grow, Poltava Regional Military Administration reports.

"Unfortunately, another person was killed as a result of a strike on a residential building. Our condolences to the family and friends," the statement said at 21:43.

Earlier, the Regional authorities reported that one child was among the dead in Poltava. In addition, 17 people were injured, including 4 children. Emergency services managed to rescue 22 people.

It is known that 480 rescuers, security forces, and public utilities were working at the scene at least a few hours ago. Almost 100 units of equipment are involved.

As of 19:12, psychologists of the State Emergency Service and the National Police have helped 177 people, including 10 children.

As of this time, the Poltava Regional Military Administration has informed that 10 people have already been reported dead. Rescue operations are currently underway.
