Miss World 2026: Who claimed the crown and how Ukraine performed

The final of the international beauty pageant Miss World 2026 took place in Vietnam, with Dominican Republic representative Jhoerri Mole Dominguez crowned the winner. A total of 111 contestants from around the world competed for this year’s crown.
RBC-Ukraine reports what is known about the new Miss World and what place Ukraine took.
Who is the new “Miss World”
The new “Miss World” is 24 years old and 1.75 meters tall. She works as a professional model, teaches literature and social sciences, and also has experience working in journalism.

Mole studied at Ibero-American University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in business management and administration.
Before entering the beauty pageant, she worked as a correspondent for the Ventana a Quisqueya program on Univision New York. In her reports, the journalist covered the culture of the Dominican Republic, social issues, and the lives of local communities.
What place did Ukraine take?
Ukraine was represented at “Miss World 2026” by Valeriia Lisovska. She successfully advanced through several stages of the competition, making it into the top 20 contestants in the world, as well as the top 5 contestants from Europe.

The official “Miss Ukraine” page noted that this result was a source of pride and demonstrated Ukraine’s strong representation on the international stage.

Lisovska’s evening look, titled “The Glow of Resilience,” drew particular attention during the final. The dress for the Ukrainian contestant was created by LADY MILLION studio.
The look had a symbolic meaning and was dedicated to the strength, resilience, and unbreakable spirit of Ukrainian women.
