Prisoner exchanges

During the full-scale war between Ukraine and Russia, the process of exchanging the bodies of fallen soldiers continues. This humanitarian exchange is conducted with the participation of forensic experts from the International Committee of the Red Cross and remains one of the few diplomatic channels between the two countries.

Earlier, on January 24, Ukraine also returned the bodies of 757 fallen soldiers, who had fought in the Donetsk, Luhansk, and Zaporizhzhia regions.
