Microsoft has begun beta-testing new features for Windows 10, despite the operating system's support being scheduled to end in 2025, according to the company's press service.
"To bring new features and more improvements to Windows 10 as needed, we need a place to do active feature development with Windows Insiders. So today, we are opening the Beta Channel for Windows Insiders who are currently on Windows 10," the statement said.
The company did not specify which new features are planned to be tested.
Support for Windows 10 is scheduled to end on October 14, 2025 - the operating system will no longer receive security updates and technical fixes. This date remains unchanged for now.
