Met Gala 2026 once again confirmed its status as the biggest fashion event of the year. This year, the red carpet at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York turned into a true art gallery, where stars interpreted the theme The Art of Costume.
RBC-Ukraine invites you to take a look at the most striking celebrity looks from the Met Gala 2026.
Beyoncé

Rihanna and A$AP Rocky
Barbadian singer and businesswoman Rihanna was one of the most anticipated guests of the Met Gala 2026.
She appeared in a sculptural Maison Margiela look by Glenn Martens, complemented by an Art Deco-inspired headpiece.
Her outfit was inspired by medieval Flemish architecture and made of silk using recycled metal threads.
The corset bodice was decorated with more than 115,000 crystal beads, antique jewelry, and chains. The embroidery alone took 1,380 hours to complete.
Rapper A$AP Rocky supported his partner in an equally striking Chanel look by Matthieu Blaz

He chose a pink wool robe with black satin lapels, silk detailing, and camellia feather embellishments.
The look was completed with black trousers, a white shirt, and Chanel jewelry.
Kim Kardashian
American TV star and businesswoman Kim Kardashian appeared at the Met Gala for the 13th time, and for this appearance, she worked with her creative director Nadia Lee Cohen and turned to artist Allen Jones.
He helped her interpret the dress code, “Fashion is Art.” The look was built around a tangerine fiberglass bustier, created from a cast based on a late-1960s sculpture.
Kardashian explained that she wanted an original art object rather than a copy of her own body.
The bustier was initially planned to be pink, but it was ultimately made in Jones’ signature orange shade, previously used by Kate Moss.

Kylie Jenner and Kendall Jenner
American sisters Kylie Jenner and Kendall Jenner surprisingly chose a similar aesthetic for Met Gala 2026 this year.
Kylie appeared in a nude corset look with decorative elements imitating anatomical forms, paired with a duchess-style satin skirt.

Hailey Bieber
American model and entrepreneur Hailey Bieber once again attended the Met Gala without Justin Bieber, but her solo appearance definitely did not go unnoticed.
She chose a Saint Laurent by Anthony Vaccarello look: a cobalt-blue chiffon gown with a matching cape and metallic leather sandals.
The main accent was a 24-karat gold bust that literally replicated the shape of her body.
The look had a strong goddess-like aesthetic and fit perfectly with the exhibition theme “The Art of Costume.”
On the red carpet, Hailey even joked that after the ball, she could hang the bust at home — if the designer allows it.

Anne Hathaway
American actress, star of the film “The Devil Wears Prada 2,” Anne Hathaway, also created her own fashion moment at the Met Gala 2026.
She appeared in a Michael Kors dress with a deep V-shaped neckline and hand-painted artwork by Peter McGough.
The outfit featured a bird and a portrait of Eirene, the Greek goddess of peace.
The actress completed the look with Roger Vivier platform sandals and posed on the red carpet alongside Michael Kors himself.
