The Duchess of Sussex appeared as a guest judge on the popular cooking show MasterChef Australia. During the episode, Meghan Markle shared details about her family's home menu. According to her, despite moving to California, the younger son of King Charles remains a fan of traditional British food.
Daily Express reveals what Harry loves to eat.
Meghan admitted that it can be difficult to please everyone at home. Prince Harry loves meat served with potatoes and a rich, creamy sauce. The Duchess herself prefers much lighter dishes, including fish, grilled meat, and citrus-based meals.
Children's involvement in cooking
The couple's young children are also actively involved in the kitchen. Archie and Lilibet often help their mother prepare dinner. Meghan said the children have excellent appetites and are not picky eaters.
The cooking show's judges were pleasantly surprised to learn that the royal children happily eat Brussels sprouts. The healthy vegetable is usually unpopular with most kids.
A romantic moment during filming
A touching moment happened during the recording of the show when Prince Harry called his wife directly on set.
Meghan affectionately referred to him as her love and said she wished he could taste the amazing dishes prepared by the contestants. Harry jokingly apologized for interrupting, after which the Duchess called him a true charmer.
The episode was filmed in April during the couple's private trip to Australia. Recently, Meghan Markle has been actively developing her culinary brand.
She releases premium food products and stars in her own Netflix projects, where she shares cooking tips and advice on entertaining guests.
