A massive forest fire has broken out in the Rostov region of Russia after a drone attack, according to the governor of the Rostov region, Vasily Golubev.

A forest fire broke out in the Milyutinsky district of the Rostov region after a drone crashed. The fire has spread to at least 20 hectares.

The Russians could not extinguish the fire due to strong winds. A helicopter was used at the site.

“The necessary forces and means are involved in extinguishing the fire. The work of firefighters is hampered by strong winds. An Emergencies Ministry helicopter has taken off to fight the fire,” Golubev wrote.

The governor of the Rostov region assures that there is no threat of the fire spreading to the settlements.

Another arsenal with Russian army weapons was probably attacked in the Volgograd region. According to the head of the National Security and Defense Council's Center for Countering Disinformation, Andriy Kovalenko, Iranian ballistic missiles were stored there.
