Who is under investigation
According to Turkish media, 22 showbiz representatives were detained during the raid. In addition to the star of the globally popular TV series, former “Miss Turkey” winner Ayşe Hatun Önal is also under investigation.
Singer Kenan Doğulu and his brother Ozan Doğulu, a composer and music producer, are also among those involved. It is reported that all detainees provided blood and hair samples for drug testing. Meanwhile, three other individuals who may be connected to the case are currently being sought by law enforcement.

Investigation involves hundreds of stars
Turkey’s anti-drug campaign has been ongoing since autumn 2025. According to Istanbul Chief Prosecutor Fatih Denmez, more than 250 people have already been detained as part of the investigation. These include actors, musicians, bloggers, and influencers.
The prosecutor’s office reported that positive drug test results were recorded in 77% of celebrities who were tested.
Earlier in April this year, authorities also detained 17 people in a case involving the purchase and possession of narcotics. Among those implicated was actress Aleyna Bozok, known for the TV series Golden Boy and Cranberry Sorbet.

The investigation has involved hundreds of stars

In addition to drug-related offenses, some participants in the case are also accused of facilitating prostitution and helping the use of narcotic or stimulant substances. In Turkey, this campaign is already being described as one of the largest operations ever conducted against show business figures in the country.
