Chanel has once again cemented its status as one of the world's most influential fashion houses, topping the ranking of the hottest brands. At the same time, several companies saw a sharp rise in popularity during the second quarter, according to the Lyst Index.

What is the Lyst Index?

The global fashion industry continues to evolve. Today, luxury brands compete not only for sales but also for consumers' attention in the digital space.

According to the latest Lyst Index for the second quarter of 2026, Chanel once again ranked as the world's hottest fashion brand.

The ranking is based on the behavior of more than 160 million users on the Lyst platform. It evaluates several factors, including product demand, brand interest, and digital influence.

Chanel holds on to No. 1 as Miu Miu climbs back up

Chanel retained the top spot thanks to strong interest in its Coco Beach and Métiers d'Art 2026 collections. Demand for the French fashion house's accessories also surged, with searches for Chanel sunglasses on Lyst increasing by 70% in a single quarter.

The season's other major success story was Miu Miu, which climbed two places in the ranking. The rise was driven by the popularity of the brand's knitted bags and its high-profile collaboration with New Balance.

One of the standout moments came when tennis star Coco Gauff appeared at Wimbledon wearing pieces from the Miu Miu x New Balance collaboration. The appearance highlighted how strongly cultural events and celebrity endorsements can influence the popularity of fashion brands.

Dior ranked third, while Saint Laurent, Gucci, and Prada also secured places in the top five.
